Melanie Franklin, Chief Executive - Maven Training Limited
Melanie has a vast array of experience in the area of project and programme management, developed in the Financial Services sector during a career that saw her appointed as a director of a global financial institution.
She has undertaken such roles as national coordinator for reorganisation of IT systems, European Manager for quality and process improvement projects and Global Programme Director for emergency planning.
In 2001, Melanie channelled this knowledge and experience into the training arena, establishing one of the leading accredited project and programme management training companies in the UK. During this time, she and her team have developed relationships across the NHS, local authorities and blue chip organisations.
In addition to her role as Chief Executive, she has a full training and consultancy schedule that keeps her at the forefront of development within the management development sphere. Melanie provides advice and guidance to a number of high profile clients, and is an author of project and programme management books.
Melanie's qualifications include; BA (Hons) Economics; Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers; Associate of the Chartered Institute of Marketing; PRINCE2™ Practitioner; MSP™ Practitioner; Accredited PRINCE2™ Trainer and she is a published author of 'Using PRINCE2™ - the project manager's guide' and 'Think MSP™' - a guide to programme management.
