Public Sector Training Courses

Our Training

Our Clients

The project, programme and change management training that we provide to public sector organisations prepares staff for their roles within such initiatives and gives them a methodology which they can apply to the many contractor firms that are engaged in the delivery of the products and services being commissioned.

A common theme across our clients in central and local government is the need to undertake projects based on the introduction of new or amended legislation. This poses particular challenges, especially in creating project documentation that identifies the specific objectives and scope for a project, even though the legislation is not specific in its requirements. In these circumstances, our trainers guide the delegates to the tools and techniques that will help them establish a framework for the project allowing initial progress to be made and to address those areas as yet undefined to be agreed at a later date.

The delegates attending our courses come from a variety of management and specialist backgrounds and are often managing multiple projects, ranging from the launch of new services into the community to taking part in large-scale capital.

Maven Training can also adapt its range of courses to suit a client’s specific needs with regards to their own Frameworks.

“My staff who have been through Maven Training courses to date have made positive comments on beginning to share a consistent language, common approach, and better communication, and that, in general, they support, understand, and wish to apply the concepts covered in the training. The general response from our delegates has been very positive”.
Ross Knapman, University of Southampton
