Our Services

Customer Focus

Every client is different with their unique challenges, their own culture and their own objectives. Therefore, it is important that the training objectives agreed as part of any assignment are aligned with the client’s objectives. Our approach to any assignment is to work with the client as a partner to ensure we develop good working relationships across the organisation – from delegates in the training room to accounts staff in finance. One of our key objectives in undertaking a training assignment is to be seen as a training partner rather than a training provider.

Innovative Training Solutions

Maven Training is committed to providing innovative training solutions in line with our client’s internal staff improvement plans, including the development of games, self-test questionnaires, “How To” guides and case studies for use by delegates for their continued professional growth.

Innovation is the successful development and application of new ideas and demands the ability to successfully identify the strongest of these, develop them and distribute the results across our client base. To achieve innovation on a continual basis, Maven Training follows an internal process of idea generation, analysis, selection, development and implementation. This process involves the Chief Executive, all employees and associate trainers. Idea generation is based on many factors including:

1- An internal entrepreneurial environment where trainers and administrators are encouraged to take 'ownership' of their training courses and client relationships. This 'ownership' includes the responsibility for continual development and improvement, which leads to new ideas on how that might be achieved;
2- Maintaining a dialogue with our client base – at all levels from those that book the training, in order to the managers that sponsor the training and the delegates that attend the training, to identify where we can add greater value, better ways of putting across the information and learning lessons from each course delivery;
3-  An environment which welcomes and encourages new ideas, backed up with the willingness to support development within budget and staff time

Contract Management

Maven Training is able to deliver Classroom-based courses and workshops as well as coaching and mentoring. We suggest three alternatives for course management:

Responsibilities (Key)

Self Managed Service (one – one)

This service is based on a relationship between the training function within the Client and their own dedicated Account Manager within Maven Training. This means that one person from the Client, the Training Manager (or nominated representative), will manage delegates and venues, and liaise with one member of our staff, allocated especially for this contract. The Client would take care of delegate management, and venues, and Maven Training of the delivery of the course. The advantages of this service level are keeping control of delegate matters as well as utilising their own relationships with venues.

Jointly Managed Service (one – one)

This service is also based on a relationship between the training function within the Client and your own dedicated Account Manager within Maven Training, still meaning that one person from the Client, the Training Manager (or nominated representative) would manage their own delegates and liaise with one member of our staff, allocated especially for this contract. However, the Client would take care of delegate management only, and Maven Training of the Course set-up, including venue management. The advantages of this service level are focusing on keeping control of delegate matters, leaving all other course set-up tasks with Maven Training.

Fully Managed Service (one – many)

This service is based on a direct relationship between delegates from the Client and their own dedicated Account Manager within Maven Training. This means that as soon as delegates know which course to attend, they would contact one member of our staff, allocated especially for this contract, in order to book their places. The advantage of this service is that Maven Training would be responsible for all training matters, from course set-up to venues and delegate management.

Maven Training will provide an Account Manager who will have the responsibility and accountability to provide all the necessary skills and resources to deliver a contract. This person will be responsible for all administration matters. Once the Training Programme and its schedule has been agreed it would be covered by ISO9001 procedures, including

  • Venue Bookings
  • Trainer Booking
  • Delegate booking
  • Course Joining Instructions
  • Transfers and cancellations
  • Delegate feedback
  • Invoicing

Benefits

The benefits of running a course at your own venues are multiple:

  • Cost Reduction for six or more delegates
  • Opportunity for training needs analysis ensuring course content relevance
  • Encouraging a project management/programme management culture from the start
  • Incorporation of client branding, consideration of client standards and practices
  • Administration of events through a focal point of contact
