By Road:

There is an NCP car park at the back of the Institute of Directors known as the "Red Cage" car park.

Take the M6 motorway north to Junction 6, exit the M6 at junction 6 and bear left onto the A38M. Stay in the second lane, and proceed in the second lane over the flyover.

Take the 1st exit off the A38 immediately after the flyover (Thistle Royal Angus Hotel on the left)

Continue down to the island; take 2nd exit off the island onto great Charles Street Queensway (keep in left hand lane)

Proceed up the Queensway, through the traffic lights to Paradise Circus (Copthorne Hotel in the middle)

Take the 1st exit left into Suffolk Street Queensway (only 50 yards from entering Suffolk Street Queensway)

Turn immediately on to Brunel Street

As you take this turn you will see the red cage NCP car park and the entrance to it straight ahead of you.

By Public Transport:

The IOD is a few minutes walk from New Street station. When leaving New Street Station take the exit for New Street itself, walk down the ramp with McDonalds on your right, and at the bottom of the ramp turn left, you are now walking directly up New Street. After only a few yards you will pass the entrance to the Burlington Hotel on your left, carry on walking up New St for a couple of minutes heading towards Victoria Square as you approach the square you will see a large Iron Statue of a man, 1 Victoria Sq is on you left, go past the first set of revolving doors which are on the corner of the building and with the building still on your left walk a further 15 yards until you reach the next entrance, this entrance is dedicated to the Institute of Directors, go through the doors and down the steps and you will see the Reception Desk on the left hand side and they will direct you to the training room.

MWB Business Exchange

Walking:

To approach the centre on foot:

1. Make your way to Corporation Street, and look for a turning marked Cherry Street - this turning is located immediately adjacent to House of Fraser/Rackhams
2. Follow Cherry Street until you reach the Lloyds TSB building - about 300 yards on, located on the corner of Temple Row and Cherry Street, facing Birmingham Cathedral
3. MWB is then located next door, look for a large glass-fronted entrance, again facing Birmingham Cathedral
   

Driving

1. Leave the M6 at junction 6 and follow the Aston expressway
2. Take the second exit from the expressway on the left hand side, this will bring you to St Chads Circus
3. Take a left at St Chads which will bring you to Colmore Circus, take the exit for Colmore Row
4. From Colmore Row look for a right to Livery Street, and follow signs from here to snow hill carpark, please note this is a pay-and-display facility
5. Once you're all parked make your way out of the entrance of snow hill carpark and follow the instructions below
   

Train

From Snow Hill:

1. Follow the main exit route (signposted) for the station, which will bring you out onto Colmore Row
2. Turn right and follow the road until there is a large green square/Birmingham Cathedral on your left
3. Cross the square, passing the cathedral, and look for a glass-fronted building located between House of Fraser and Lloyds TSB

From New Street:

1. Exit the station via the 'Pallasades' shopping centre, you will need to take on flight of stairs and one escalator, you will emerge facing 'the works' bookshop
2. proceed to the main exit (corporation St. -down the ramp) and follow Corporation Street until you come to house of Fraser, immediately before the House of Fraser building is Cherry Street, take a left here and follow to the end of the road (approx 300 yards)
3. MWB is located next door to TSB, on your right.
