Why take an MSP™ Changeover Course?
We at Maven Training are always here for our delegates with new initiatives and ideas to generally make your world a better place. That’s why any previous delegates who have taken any MSP course with us (or elsewhere in fact) will be able to take advantage of our new MSP™ Changeover Course.
As you may or may not be aware, the MSP™ qualifications were updated and rewritten in line with the release of the updated manual by TSO in September 2007. As the name ‘Intermediate’ was not deemed appropriate for a named examination, APMG took the opportunity to tie in a new name with the launch of the new products.
The New MSP™ Changeover Course is crucial in bridging the gap from the old to the new style MSP™ methodology. It explains why the changes have taken place and will even include the new 2007 manual, certificate of conversion from old to new style as well as vast amounts of information on the new style programme management concepts. Just to note this is a non-accredited course so has not got an exam or qualification involved, but the benefits are a necessity, not a luxury.
If you look at the data flow diagram, you will be able to see where you fit in to the scheme of things. There were previously three levels of qualification which have been converted in to their new styles as followed:

As you can see the Foundation name has been kept the same but Intermediate and Practitioner have changed. Following on from the data flow chart and using the colour coded key, you can see from what exams you have passed or failed previously, to how the Changeover course fits in and then what course or courses to follow up with. You will be able to see that each chosen path involves the Changeover course in one way or another. The direction in what route you take though depends on what exams you have passed and which qualifications you wish to gain.
