Understand the activities and decisions that govern a change initiative and how this translates into a senior management 'Change Sponsor' role

Review the responsibilities for senior level stakeholder communication and engagement and the relationship between the Change Sponsor, the Change Manager and those impacted by change

Understand where reviews and decision points need to be in the Business Change Lifecycle and create checklists for key decisions

Create the information flow that supports the sponsorship role, establishing the scope, frequency, format and distribution of progress information, requests for scope changes and risk and issue reporting

Participants will build their own role definitions clarifying their level of authority and the amount of authority they are willing to delegate to the Change Manager.
