Carol Elliott recently joined Maven Training as a PRINCE2 Trainer

Carol joins us a 'well-seasoned' and 'well-travelled' Project Manager with over 15 years project management experience - mostly managing IT projects and organisational change programmes. She is a member of the internationally recognised Project Management Institute (PMI) and through them, is a certified Project Manager Professional (PMP). She also holds an MBA from the University of Hull.

For the past 10 years, Carol has lived on Gabriola Island, which lies off the western coast of British Colombia, between Vancouver City and Vancouver Island. She lived on five acres in the middle of a cedar forest in her log cabin home. Here she worked on contract projects that spanned from the Canadian/Alaskan border in the north, to the State of Mississippi in the south of the U.S.

Prior to moving to Canada, Carol spent 16 years in the Middle East working for a UK company in IT and was based in Dubai, Abu Dhabe, Bahrain and Qatar. She has also lived in Singapore, Cyprus and Germany.

More recently, Carol moved her home from Canada to France with husband, Steve, and dogs, Cody and Cassie, and now lives in the small French village of Vernoux-en-Gatine, in the Charente-Poitou, in a 17th Century converted coach-house in the grounds of an old Chateaux. Her London base is in Harrow and she commutes back to France, as much as possible, at weekends! Married for 36 years, Carol has two children - Daniel, 33, who works in IT and Dawn, 32, who is a GP.

Carol will be an in-house trainer with Maven Training and will be delivering PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner courses. She says she is "extremely excited to join Maven Training as a new trainer and is very keen to quickly gain her PRINCE2 Practitioner Certification and her PRINCE2 Trainer Accreditation". She recently sat both her PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner's exams at the Maven Training Centre and is currently working towards her PRINCE2 Trainer Accreditation planned for assessment in August.
