Maven adds new titles to the popular Quick Guide Series
Due to popular demand, Maven has extended its Quick Guide series to incorporate two new titles - ‘How to get started – managing a project’ and ‘How to get started – managing a change initiative'.
These guides offer a wealth of advice covering essential tasks and information for those starting out in project or change management.
“Our clients often want simplicity and that is epitomized in these quick guides with documentation in a format that will give them the basics to get them started as fast as possible” says Melanie Franklin, CEO at Maven and author of the Quick Guides.
The How to get started – managing a project quick guide is aimed at those who are new to project management and is based on PRINCE2® best practice. It provides an overview of the whole project lifecycle with step-by-step actions, decisions and the documents needed to manage the project. It helps identify the key activities for starting the project and gives advice on the most common mistakes and how to overcome them.
The How to get started – managing a change initiative is aimed at those responsible for managing a change in their team, department or organisation for the first time. It is based on a simple four step business change lifecycle: Assessing the change, Planning the change, Implementing the change and Embedding the change. It identifies the most important steps for starting the change, the most common mistakes and how to overcome them.
