Maven joins some of the industry's experts at Project Controls Expo - London 2011 on 9 - 10 November.

This is the first and largest international Project Controls conference dedicated exclusively to its advancement and with the objective of providing significant practical and theoretical awareness on Project Controls process, tools and techniques to its stakeholders. The show is the most important event for those working within the spectrum of Project Control, not just from an educational perspective but also in terms of building a network and exploring career opportunities.

The event brings practitioners, employers, customers and suppliers together to share knowledge, experience, best practices, career development and software tools under one roof.

Melanie Franklin, CEO of Maven and a change and project management implementation expert and renowned conference speaker will give the opening presentation in the Foundation Zone on day one at 09:30 - 10:15.  Melanie's lively and engaging presentation will give visitors an introduction to project control with emphasis on the need to understand the context of project information in the wider organisational context, ensuring that project controls information helps not only the project manager to control delivery but also supports the project sponsor in realising benefits.

On day two Melanie will run a two-hour workshop on the importance and implementation of Project Control for the benefit of the project and the organisation at 13.45 – 16.00 in the Workshop Zone. This session examines the need to create an environment which encourages the collection of accurate project information from all participants and reviews the questions that this information must answer for those involved in managing the project and for those making changes to business as usual, so that what is delivered by the project can be implemented successfully.
