Project Challenge 2008

Maven Training recently attended the Project Challenge event and we were inundated with queries from candidates requiring information about our project management training courses.

We thoroughly enjoyed meeting everyone who attended our stand and told them about our PRINCE2 Near You initiative – no need to travel down to London for those prospective delegates who live all around the UK.

We were very interested to hear from Vince Hines of Wellingtone Recruitment what salaries and contracts project managers are earning. His advice was that both permanent staff and contractors need to make sure they have the right qualifications. See our report in this issue.

At Project Challenge, Andy Murray gave an insight into how the update of PRINCE2 is coming along. The new version is expected early in 2009 and qualifications are likely to be impacted. Don’t worry though, Maven Training will keep all our delegates informed once we have access to the new material at the end of this year!

There is increasing interest in the Programme and Project Support Office (P3O Courses) so don’t forget that we offer this ISEB course.
