This is a specific event to prepare for the MSP™ Practitioner Examination. Delegates attending this event must have attended the MSP™ Foundation course which was based upon the 2003 or 2007 version of the MSP™ manual.

· Review the syllabus of the MSP™ Practitioner examinations

Course Content

· How programmes come about

· Identifying the outline of what the programme is to deliver

· Defining in detail what the programme is to deliver and determining whether it is worthwhile

· Managing the programme including ensuring benefits, realisation, effective and appropriate

· Stakeholder Management, handling issues and managing risks across the programme

· Ensuring that the programme remains worthwhile and aligned to strategic objectives

· Delivering the required outcomes to the required quality

· Programme reviews and audit

· Practical Application Exercises including an opportunity to work in small teams

· An integrated pack of sample examination questions

· An opportunity to experience time management for the Practitioner examinations and trainer feedback on the results of the sample papers

Course Structure

· Suggested 15 hours of pre-course preparation

· 2-day course

· Delegates are encouraged to complete 1-2 hours of evening work for each day of the course
