Benefits Realisation Plan

The MSP™ Benefits Realisation Plan (BRP) is used to track realisation of benefits across the programme. Delivery and realisation of benefits takes place at operational level.

There is a need to embed the new capability of the MSP™ Benefits Realisation Plan into operations so that it becomes “business as usual”.

Realisation of the full benefits may not happen until after the final product in the programme has been completed and the programme is closed.

The BRP is a complete view of all the benefit profiles in the form of a schedule defining when each benefit or group of benefits will be realised and any handover activities are required.
