PRINCE2 Practitioner Consolidation

The PRINCE2 Practitioner Consolidation Course will focus on helping Delegates build on their knowledge of the structure and content of the PRINCE2 methodology. Delegates attending this course need to have passed the PRINCE2 Foundation Exam. The successful completion of the Practitioner Exam will give the Delegate a recognized PRINCE2 Practitioner qualification

Learning Objectives

·   To review and consolidate previous PRINCE2 knowledge
·   Linking the PRINCE2 components, processes and techniques to a project scenario
·   Answer any questions or concerns Delegates may have about using PRINCE2 to run projects
·   Preparation for the Practitioner Exam

 Course Content

Consolidation of PRINCE2 Knowledge
·    Review of the structure of PRINCE2, concentrating on the 8 processes and how they are used during the lifecycle of a project
·    Review of components and techniques and how they are applied during a project
 
Practical Application of PRINCE2
·    Linking the components, processes and techniques to a project scenario
·    Addressing theoretical and practical use of the PRINCE2 method
 
Exam Preparation
·    Review of exam questions, mapped against key areas of the PRINCE2 manual
·    How to structure answers to the Practitioner Exam
·    Mock exam practice marked and feedback given by the trainer

 The Course Will Benefit

·    Delegates who have written their Foundation Course more than two months prior to attendance and who may have done so with another training provider
·    Delegates who have studied for their Foundation Course through distance learning
·    Delegates who may not have had success with the PRINCE2 Practitioner Exam in the past

 Course Structure

·    Suggested 10 hours of pre-course preparation
·    3 day Course
·    3 hour open book Practitioner Exam on the 3rd day, pass mark is 180/360 (Split 40 marks each over 9 questions)
·    Delegates are encouraged to complete evening work to ensure best chance at an exam pass
