Course Introduction

The BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis is a constituent certification of four other exams which are categorised as:

The delegates need to pass four exams and the Oral exam in order to get this certification. The delegates need to pass both the exams from the Core Module, one exam each (any one) from the Knowledge Base Module and The Practitioner Module. Thereafter, the candidate has to take the Oral Exam as well.

Prerequisites

It is important that the delegates bring some suitable photographic identification to the oral examination for validation prior to the exam (Driving Licence, Passport and named Work ID badges are all acceptable). For further information, please refer to the Identification Policy which can be found on the BCS website. The delegates are required to arrive at least 15 minutes ahead of the allocated start time as this helps to keep the examination schedule running smoothly.

Delegates will be expected to have experience to environments as a business analyst, project manager, change management, quality or a similar role. In addition, they will be expected to have reviewed the diploma syllabus which is a combination of the BCS courses they will have already covered.

EXAM: Format of oral exam:-

Once the delegates have completed their four exams successfully, they can then sit for their Oral Exam. The Oral Exam is conducted for a duration of 50 minutes during which the delegates have to answer the queries from two examiners. The examiners can ask the delegates anything from the syllabus (including the modules they have appeared for in the exams). They can also ask queries related to your experience regarding Business Analysis.
