  • If a user sends a link to an attachment that is stored on OneDrive, the user gets to control over who can read or who can edit that attachment. The users can allow anyone in the organisation to read or modify the attachment or limit access just to the recipient. If a user want to send an attachment stored on a SharePoint online site and the recipient doesn’t have access to the attachment due to permissions restrictions, Outlook will warn the sender and suggest to attach a copy of the attachment instead
  • Microsoft Outlook 2016 also introduces new fonts for Arabic as well as Western European languages.
  • Another useful feature provided by Outlook 2016 is the Focused Inbox. The inbox now has two tabs – Focused and Other. Important emails go into the Focused tab while the regular ones remain in the Other tab
  • The app features a new touch-friendly mode for use on tablets or all-in-one. So if you unlock a tablet connected to a big screen and keyboard, the icons grow larger and more touchable
  • Something is ignoring if delegates using Outlook on a PC is that its interface is now consistent with what delegates will see with the communication app running on an iPhone, Android device, or Windows Phone, too. It has also now come up with the Tablet-rotate feature.
  • Microsoft Outlook 2016 has also introduced a newer help feature Tell-me. The new feature in MS Outlook 2016 is the new Light Bulb icon in the Ribbon with “Tell me” is a vast improvement over the earlier static looking question mark
  • Further, Microsoft Outlook 2016 also supports Office 365 Groups. Outlook 2016 now includes support for creating, joining and managing Office 365 Groups so that you don’t have to do it indirectly through Outlook for The Web
  • Clutter is another feature that has been newly added to Outlook 2016. The feature allows moving the ignored emails to Clutter to keep the Inbox clean
